![]() | SuPPort stands for 'Success Using the Plant Programme in Overcoming and Treating Cancer'
SuPPort is designed to help you to complement your conventional medical treatment for cancer with scientifically based diet and lifestyle changes. Background In 1993 despite several operations, 35 radio therapy treatments and irradiation of her ovaries to induce the menopause and chemotherapy Professor Jane Plant was told she only had months to live after her breast cancer returned for the 5th time. At that point she began to use her scientific knowledge and experience to save her life. She went on to help more than 60 women overcome their disease before deciding to publish her findings in her international bestselling book “Your Life in Your Hands”. The book is increasingly recommended by health professionals and led to her being given fellowship of the Royal Society of Medicine. ![]() 13 years on Jane works with cancer patients in a clinic in Kew Gardens helping them to put their cancer in remission and keep it there. The latest edition of Your Life in your Hands published in June 2006 includes many successful case histories of patients who have used the famous Plant Programme with its dietary and lifestyle factors to complement their orthodox medical treatment to help maintain their health. Jane was aware however that far more people need to be helped through her methods in order to prevent the dreadful toll that cancer takes of people’s lives. She therefore joined forces with her long term friend Laura Jones to create a dedicated website to support people with cancer and their carers and to help prevent cancer. The website is www.cancersupportinternational.com ![]() Cancer SuPPort International is committed to providing independent, impartial science based information.
