	Daisy44 Gold Member Yorkshire, England     I joined CBN at the beginning of December 2007. I joined in desperation because my husband had to have his stomach removed because of cancer. I was at my wits end and needed to speak to someone who had experienced the same thing. I did find a Buddy and I can't say how much my Buddy has helped both myself and my husband. Without the understanding and passing on to us the experiences of my Buddy who had the same operation I would still be at square one. We have had help with diet and all the quirky aches and pains that we used to panic about. Now we know all the things that are normal after the operation and during the recovery period. Plus for the first time I felt I wasn't alone, someone understood.
